Rhinoplasty typically takes between one and two hours to complete, though more complicated procedures may require more time. Typically performed with either general anesthesia or local anesthesia combined with sedation, the procedure can take place in a surgical center, surgeon’s office, or hospital. Patients usually can return to work within one to two weeks, though more strenuous activity should be avoided for two to three weeks.
