Facelift surgery, known also as rhytidectomy or rhytidoplasty, is the surgical procedure intended to reduce wrinkling and sagging of the face and neck. This can be achieved by redraping the skin of the face and neck, removing excess fat, and/or tightening the underlying muscles.
